What is LinkedIn Wend?
Wend is LinkedIn's daily word-path puzzle. It appears alongside the rest of LinkedIn's games — the same lineup as Queens, Tango, and Pinpoint — and gives you one new board each day inside the LinkedIn News and games experience. Wend was created by world puzzle champion Thomas Snyder and launched on June 9, 2026.
The idea is elegant: a small grid holds a handful of hidden words, each spelled along a path that bends around gray wall cells. Every open tile belongs to exactly one word, so solving means carving the whole board into connected word-shaped pieces. One puzzle a day is a lovely ritual — but if you finish it and want more, there is nowhere official to go.
That is why this site exists. The Wend Game is an independent, free edition of the same trace-the-path idea, built for players who want to keep going. It is not the official puzzle and it is not affiliated with LinkedIn — it is a fan-made companion that gives you Wend whenever you want it.
How to play
The rules here are exactly the same as the LinkedIn version. Each hidden word is a path that steps between orthogonally adjacent tiles — up, down, left, or right, never diagonally — bending around the walls and never crossing itself.
Press and drag across connected tiles to trace a word, or tap them one at a time. When your trace matches a hidden word from either end, it locks in with its own color. Keep going until every open tile belongs to a word and the board is solved. Stuck? A hint reveals the next letter of one unsolved word.

LinkedIn Wend FAQ
Is this the official LinkedIn Wend?
No. The Wend Game is an independent, fan-made site and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn or Microsoft. The official Wend is published by LinkedIn; this site is a free companion for players who want more puzzles.
Why play Wend here instead of on LinkedIn?
LinkedIn gives you one Wend puzzle per day. This site gives you six daily boards in different sizes, a library of numbered puzzles you can play on demand, an archive of past days, and optional leaderboards — all free and without a LinkedIn account.
Are the rules the same as LinkedIn Wend?
Yes. Every word is a path that steps between neighboring tiles and bends around walls, every open tile belongs to exactly one word, and a trace is accepted from either direction. If you can play LinkedIn's Wend, you already know how to play here.
Do I need a LinkedIn account to play here?
No. You do not need a LinkedIn account, and you do not need any account at all to play. Signing in is optional and only adds the daily leaderboard and cross-device progress; every puzzle is fully playable signed out.
Is it free?
Yes, completely free. There is nothing to install and no paywall — just open a puzzle and start tracing.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. The board is built for touch first: press and drag to trace a word, or tap tiles one at a time. It works on phones, tablets, and desktops in any modern browser.
